Agentic commerce

AI agents are learning to shop. Be ready when they buy.

In the US, AI assistants can already find, compare and buy products for shoppers. The UK is next. We get your products, data and checkout ready for AI agents, and show you what AI is already worth to your sales.

Why prepare now

UK shoppers are ready. Most shops aren't yet.

AI is already part of how people in the UK find and choose what to buy, and retailers are lining up to let agents buy too. The shops that get their data and tracking right first will be the ones agents choose.

28%

of UK shoppers now use AI to help them shop, up from 12% a year earlier

44%

of UK shoppers are open to AI handling the whole purchase, including paying

84%

of UK retailers are open to letting AI shop on their customers' behalf

Where it stands

Agentic commerce is arriving in stages.

It isn't fully here in the UK yet, and that's the point. The groundwork takes time, so the businesses that start now are the ones agents will be able to read, trust and buy from first.

  1. Here now

    AI already helps people choose

Shoppers ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot what to buy. The AI compares options, recommends products and sends people to the shop to pay. This is happening in the UK today.

  2. Rolling out in the US

    Agents start completing the purchase

In the US, Google has started letting shoppers buy inside AI Mode and Gemini, and Visa, Mastercard, Stripe and PayPal are all building payments for AI agents.

  3. UK next

    The UK catches up

Some of the UK's biggest retailers are already piloting agent payments. When native checkout arrives here, agents will favour the shops whose data they can read and trust.

What we do

Our agentic commerce services

Agentic commerce reporting

See what AI is already doing for your sales. Standard analytics files most AI visits under 'direct', and a purchase an agent completes may never load your website at all. We separate out AI referrals, agent visits and AI-attributed orders, and report them alongside revenue.

Agent readiness audit

We check how easily AI agents can find, read and trust your products, from crawler access and product pages to reviews and returns information, and show you exactly what's missing.

Product data agents can use

Structured product data, accurate prices and stock, and complete product feeds, so an agent can compare you correctly and recommend you with confidence.

A plan for agent checkout

We check what your platform and payment provider already support for agent checkout, and plan the switch-on so you're ready when it reaches the UK, not scrambling after your competitors.

Agentic commerce reporting

Most businesses can't see what AI is selling for them.

AI visits often land in your analytics as 'direct', and a purchase an agent completes on a platform may never load your website at all. So most businesses are underestimating what AI already does for them, and will be blind to it as agents start buying. We pull it out of analytics, server logs and your platform's order data, and report it in plain numbers.

  • AI referral traffic, recovered from 'direct'
  • AI agent and crawler visits, from server logs
  • Orders and revenue by AI channel
  • Your share of AI product recommendations

How it works

From AI visibility to agent-ready.

Find out how ready you are

We start by measuring where you stand today, with AI shoppers and with the agents that will soon buy for them.

Readiness audit

Crawler and agent access, product data, structured data, feeds, reviews and policies, scored and ranked by impact.

AI baseline

Real shopping prompts run across the main AI platforms, recording which products and shops get recommended, and where you are missing.

Fix what agents need

Then we fix the gaps, starting with the ones that also improve your visibility in AI answers today.

Data and access

Product schema, complete feeds and accurate stock and pricing, with AI agents allowed in rather than blocked by default.

Checkout plan

A clear view of what your platform and payment provider support, and what to switch on as UK rollout arrives.

Report on what AI is worth

Ongoing reporting that shows what AI is sending you now, and tracks agent activity as it grows.

AI sales reporting

AI referrals, agent visits and AI-attributed orders and revenue, pulled out of the places standard analytics hides them.

Recommendation tracking

How often AI recommends your products against your competitors, and what changes it.

Common questions

Agentic commerce, explained plainly.

What is agentic commerce?

Agentic commerce is when an AI agent, such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot, does the shopping for someone: finding products, comparing options and, increasingly, completing the purchase on their behalf.

Is agentic commerce live in the UK yet?

Not fully. AI already shapes what UK shoppers buy, but checkout inside AI tools is rolling out in the US first, and UK retailers are piloting agent payments now. The groundwork (product data, access and measurement) takes time, which is why the businesses that start now will be ready first.

How is this different from AI visibility?

AI visibility gets your business named in AI answers. Agentic commerce goes a step further, making sure an agent can understand your products, trust your prices and stock, and buy from you. The two share the same foundations, so we usually do both together.

Do I need to change my checkout now?

Usually not yet. Most of the work today is data, access and measurement. We'll tell you what your platform and payment provider already support, so you can switch on agent checkout when it makes sense rather than rebuilding in a hurry.

Can Google Analytics show AI agent traffic?

Only partly. A lot of AI traffic is recorded as direct, and a purchase an agent completes through a platform may never load your website. We combine analytics, server logs and order data from your platform to show the full picture.

Is this only for online shops?

Online retailers will feel it first, but AI agents are also starting to compare and book services. The same groundwork, clear facts and data an agent can read, applies to service businesses too.
